I am an art therapist and licensed counselor who strives to use empowering and non-pathologizing approaches in my practice.

Who do I work with?

Somewhere along the way I have found myself working largely with individuals with high functioning anxiety that as we work together appears to be routed in complex trauma, especially fawn and flight trauma responses. These stress or trauma responses have become tangled up in identity because these patterns of behavior often align with socially and culturally desirable traits. This can look all sorts of ways such as overworking, people pleasing, codependency, perfectionism, overachieving, discomfort with relaxing or doing “nothing”, stoicism, and conflict avoidance. However, I am happy to talk to anyone to see if we would be a good match as therapist and client and am willing to work with a broad range of clients.

“I would recommend her to ANYONE. She has compassion, sympathy, empathy, to children and their parents. I wish other therapists were like her.”
